Research interests
Our team aims to decipher specific aspects of the interaction between bacterial pathogens and the host innate immune responses, in normal or cystic fibrosis context, with the objective to propose innovative treatments against infections. To achieve these goals, we take advantage of the zebrafish model.
The team is currently composed of 2 research groups:
- Group 1 – Mechanisms of bacterial intramacrophage survival and anti-virulence strategies (PI Anne Blanc-Potard)
- Group 2 – Antibacterial defenses and inflammation during cystic fibrosis (PI Audrey Bernut)
